Electrical and Electronics Engineering department of LNCT Indore has been always taken initiatives to promote the research activities. Various research papers have been published by faculties and students of department in recent years. Every year Department organizes a national level conference in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Every semester students visits to industry or power generating stations. Several good projects have been done by students in the past.

Some of the Good Projects done by the students

Ø   Mobile and Radio frequency based Home Automation.

Ø   Automatic College Bell using Micro controller.

Ø   Automatic ON/OFF of DC motor through voice by MATLAB programming

Ø  Simulation of PWM based Full Bridge Converter.

Ø  Simulation of DC to DC Converter using MATLAB.

HOD Profile

Dr. Pragya Nema

Dr. Pragya Nema obtained her B.E. (Electrical Engineering) degree from Govt. engineering college, Sagar, in 1995 M.Tech. ( Heavy Electrical Enginnering)from Maulana Azad College of Technology, Bhopal in 2001 and Ph.D. in Energy System from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal in 2010. Her research interest areas are power system, hybrid energy system, solar and wind energy. She is actively involved in various research works in the field of renewable energy. She has published 36 research papers in different national and international journals and conferences and filled one patent on solar photovoltaic research in 2013.

Dr.Pragya Nema has joined LNCT Indore on 25th sep.2013 as a professor and head of the department. Presently she is Dean Academics of LNCT, Indore. She has 16 year teaching and research experienced at renowned college’s i.e, govt. college, NIT and west Bengal technical university. Before she has joined this college, she was working as a professor in Netaji Subhash Engineering College, Kolkata. She is an editorial board member of one American research journal related to electrical engineering. Also she has reviewed various papers of IEEE and Science direct journals in electrical engineering field. She is expert in the field of renewable energy, integrated renewable energy system, and power system.

Dr. Pragya Nema has got life time membership of ISTE and Institute of Engineers society. Also she is a member of IEEE. She awarded research fellowship from MHRD in Jan 2006 for three year. Also she has selected as a researcher in Morques Whose Who? World directory 2012. She is actively participating in various workshop and conferences in national international level. Recently she has appointed technical review committee member in IEEE international conference held at Kolkata in Jan 2014 and ASME international conference held at china in 2011.
